Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

*Delivered awareness sessions about FP methods/SRH to more than 4500 Refugees
*Project manager in Girls decide project targeting 4000 beneficiaries in different communities
*Designed more than 10 games for social changes to aware adults/children about importance of SRH/FP education.
*organising annual International celebration at IWD &World Health Day under theme of women health empowerment &happy family.
*Mentor at International conference on family planning 2018, Uganda.
*Capacity building training to National Population council employees/consultants on FP methods.
*Training new facilitators (133) on SRH/FP method, facts and rates

What sparked your passion for family planning?

During my training at Health units there were many teenagers with unsafe abortion as they either don’t know about FP methods, user failure or didn’t take health message by a service provider so I started an initiative inside the unit to educate those young women about family planning, methods etc… & then transferred this initiative to bigger projects and educational materials to spread awareness in larger communities to end stigma against Usage of FP or unwanted abortion as a FP method.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

1.creation a youth network all over Egypt spreading awareness about FP/Methods working on SRHR.
2.Training 100 new trainers on SRH.
3. Organizing 16 events about SRH , FP and Positive Manhood against GBV in 4 different communities reaching 2000 beneficiary .
4.Participating as one of stakeholder at UNFPA special meeting,Alex.2018
5.Youth representative at Minister of Health meeting with Civil society &UN agencies leaders 2019.
6.ability to make a change in rural communities using games.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work?

*designing new innovative games to spread awareness about FP/SRH as playing cards , Ludo, Puzzle , snake/ladder &new games
*organising campaign to trainer service providers at Giza Village/Rural area using this games
*launching a new initiative “Family Planning Ambassadors ” choosing a youth ambassador in each govern-orate in Egypt and train them to be ambassadors for FP in their communities & launch local initiatives aim to correct misconceptions and run Medical or population caravans.
