In 2019, the 120 Under 40 Celebrations are being replaced by an opportunity to attend the new Bill & Melinda Gates Leadership Accelerator, an intensive 2-week training course that will impart innovative approaches to leadership, program management, policy analysis, strategic planning, communications, advocacy and organizational change. Fifteen of the 120 winners will be funded to participate (2016 and 2017 winners can apply; applications will be accepted from 2019 nominees, but their applications will not be considered unless they are named a winner). Applications for the Leadership Accelerator will open in March 2019.
