Global Health Leadership Accelerator: Training of Trainers

The Bill & Melinda Gates Institute is proud to present the 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator: Training of Trainers. Participation in the training will allow youth participants who have already participated in a Global Health Leadership Accelerator course to learn to become certified trainers to bring this opportunity to their respective regions of the world. Trainees learn how to effectively deliver course content and skills to other youth. Trainees will also support the delivery of the 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator in Pattaya City, Thailand

ABOUT THE 2022 GLOBAL HEALTH LEADERSHIP ACCELERATOR: Training of Trainers

Trainers will practice the skills developed in their training sessions with course participants. Limited funding to attend the 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator in-person portion will be offered for eligible youth. The 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator: Training of Trainers will be a hybrid course, with the initial training occurring virtually, October 3-6, 2022, and the second half occurring in person in Pattaya City, Thailand, November 7-11, 2022. Participants must commit to participate in the full training.

VIRTUAL The virtual portion of the Global Health Leadership Accelerator: Training of Trainers will require 4 hours per day of live session participation.

IN-PERSON Trainers will also support the in-person delivery of the 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator, which will be held in Pattaya City, Thailand November 7-11, 2022, prior to the International Conference for Family Planning (ICFP).

ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for the 2022 Global Health Leadership Accelerator: Training of Trainers, applicants:

  • Must be a 120 under 40 leader
  • Must have already participated in a Global Health Leadership Accelerator course
  • Must be able to travel to Thailand in November 2022
