What sparked your passion for family planning?

Lack of information and widespread of myths and misconceptions are the major reasons behind a plethora of sexual reproductive health issues in Egypt.
For example, many young people engage in unsafe sex because no one educate them about safe sex and many couples refuse family planning as they heard it causes infertility.
Providing Egyptians with information sparks my passion. Beginning with small awareness campaigns to coordinating online platform accessed by millions is a success story for me.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I appreciate team working and always encourage colleagues to start where others stop, I depend in my work on the recent researches and updates.
In Love matters, as a team we think creatively in shaping messages and creating media materials which can reach people regardless educational levels.
For example, we are promoting that contraception is sexy this message attracts users to our platforms inquiring about contraceptives.
Partnering with NGOs or media organizations is part of our vision.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

If I am named a winner of 120 under 40, I will invest the grant and the platform in creating new media that promotes family planning on Love Matters Arabic online platform. I dream of storytelling videos, documentaries, and testimonials on how family planning can, positively, change people's lives.
