Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

1. Worked as the Society for Family Health (SFH) Lagos State Territorial M&E officer between Sept 2012 and October 2014, and supported the Women Health Projects (WHP), Expanded Social Marketing projects in Nigeria (ESMPIN) and Universal Access to female condom (UAFC) 

2. I served as a resource person for the peer review of 40 abstracts submitted for the 2015 International Family Planning Conference.

3. Supported the drafting of the Family Planning section of the Lagos State version of the NARHS 2012 plus survey report in 2014

4. Co-authored a paper titled "Factors Associated with Unintended Pregnancy amongst Currently Married Pregnant Women in Ilesa Osun State, Nigeria". Popularly cited as "Asaolu O.S, and Bolorunduro A. (2015). Factors Associated with Unintended Pregnancy amongst Currently Married Pregnant Women in Ilesa Osun State, Nigeria. World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology Humanities and Social Sciences, International Science Index Vol:2, No:5"

5. Published an abstract at The 3rd Nigeria Family Planning Conference is scheduled to hold November 26th - 28th, 2014 at Sheraton Hotel and towers, Abuja.

6. As the Senior M&E Officer, I led the SFH Lagos territory to achieve a CYP of 213, 037 through the sales and distribution activities of the USAID funded ESMPIN project between April to June 2016 2014. (Our Lagos Sales team sold 60 cartons of IUCD, 1,267 cartons of Combination 3 (contraceptive pills), 32 cartons of Jadelle (implants), 22 cartons of cycle beads (natural methods), 224 cartons of Postinor 2 and 18 cartons of pregnon)

· About 4,598 women of reproductive age (WRA) were protected through the adoption of a family planning method.

· A total of 220,358 people were reached with various health messages; Social Franchise reached 38,800 WRA, ESMPIN reached 85,621 community people in Agege LGA of Lagos and Sagamu LGA of Ogun state, UAFC IPC agents reached out to 84,214 persons; while SHiPS IPCs reached 11,723 clients of FSWs.

· The capacity of 507 PPMVs were built on ORS and Zinc.

· Guided the distribution of 659,280 male condoms to key populations in Lagos State

If eventually I become part of the 120 under 40, I will partner with a youth leadership centre in Ibadan to sensitize about 5 primary health centres on the provision of youth friendly SRH services and collaborate with NYSC Peer Health educator trainers to conduct about 10 outreaches to adolescents in secondary schools in Ibadan Oyo State within the next 1 year.
