Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

As an activist in my community, I owe a better environment to women and girls in terms of education, house life and motherhood.
Nowadays, girls are made to go to school and become a reality of their dreams...but they are facing a big issue that is the society influence, and this is mostly lead by their own parents as the mothers have been in the same position, they found themselves armless and voiceless in these cases. Most women wish to see their ladies becoming a personality but their fathers rather prefer to take the bride price at an early age and push these young and innocent girls to forced marriage. These are the cases we work on, we denounce them and make sensibilizations to villages, leaders, schools, markets, houses to make them change their minds and behaviors for a better world.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

Im leaving actually in a community where this practice is a big barrier to women empowerment and development.
I have simply decided to join my voice to them and make it loud for everybody to hear..Most teenagers are mothers of 2 to 4 children without any motherhood background. The fathers found their passion in pregnancy..without knowing that they can adopt a family planning that will save their lives especially due to the fact that they don't have the means to support all the children.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your family planning efforts, and what have you done to overcome it?

We face big challenges everyday in our work but one that marked me was the case pf a lady of 17 years old with 2 children and was furthermore pregnant. Tired of that, she tried to abort herself and was in critical condition. Her parents were speechless facing that. They don't even have money to bring her to hospital to avoid the worse. Thanks to one of her sisters who call us URGENTLY to handle the case. She lose the baby but today she has restarted going to school to finish her secondary school

What is your (country/region/city)’s biggest challenge in family planning, and how can it be addressed?

To resolve a problem,it's always good to take it from the root. Actually one of the most crucial one is child marriage.Girls are made for schools, they always shout WE ARE GIRLS NOT BRIDES.But the government and the community walk deaf. Resolving the problem of early marriage will let the children goes to school and learn good things for themselves. In upper classes some parents still thinking that lots of children equal to many hands at work in the field and wealth. Sensibilitizations is required

What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years?

Have a free violence made to women environment
Let GIRLS go to schools
GIRLS NOT PRIDE program in Togo
Parents aware of unplanned family consequences
A better world for men and women
A better world for boys and girls.
